Since I have been working on these, figured the actual pricing post should go here in the For Sale section. Moderators, if possible can you pin this? It is not like I would run out, but if I got to where I would no longer do them, I will let everyone know.

This is just a pricing list for those that want to do conversions for any exterior light on your Beretta. Conversions mean that instead of a plug in bulb, you would have it physically customized to an LED version of the light. Currently I am able to make most of these plug N play with existing wiring.

Current available upgrades:

Driver and passenger side marker lamps, both front and rear.

3rd brake light for any Beretta.

Rear tail lights for any Beretta.

Front marker lights will be available soon, (as soon as I get a couple of test housings, feel free to send me one if you have a crappy or busted spare)

It should be noted, ANY color other than DOT approved colors may be in violation of your local state laws. Choices of colors other than these are at your own risk and I am not held responsible if you are ticketed for having incorrect color lighting. Q & A section.

What is needed to do these conversions?

For all lights EXCEPT the tail lights, I will need the light sent to me to be converted. I can purchase used/new lights for you if needed, but that would be added to the cost. For nearly all of these, they JUST have to have a good lens. The bulb housing won't matter and the lights do NOT half to be new. I would rather convert a decent set than a brand new set. I will be cleaning and/or polishing to make them look as nice as I can for you as it is.

How hard will these be to install?

For most of this, rather simple. The side markers and tail lights will be direct plug ins, unless you request otherwise (as in the case of bad lamp sockets). So far I have no easy way to do the 3rd brake lights, outside of splicing. That can be done with latch locks however. Tail lights will also include required resistors, so no modification to your car's system should be required.

The price for the tail light options seem kinda high. Why is that?

Well, the lights themselves require numerous LEDs, in order to get the correct brightness level. I have offered two styles, one that is less brighter than the other, and using bulk pricing to help keep the cost down. I have no doubts that both will look great! You are also getting some optional lighting choices (4) in how the lights blink. (see below) Nice for customizing the tail lights to your preference, yet easy to change if you get tired of a style.

What are the differences between the regular tail lights and the Euro ones?

The standard lights only have 3 circuits. 1 for reverse, 1 for running lights, and 1 for everything else. The Euro lights have 4, as they have the turns/hazards and brakes separate. This limits what I can make them do since one section is amber, and one is red. Also you can only install the Euro modification into a Euro tail light, and those do require the Euro wiring 4 circuits. Standard US cars won't have this. But a Euro wiring setup with non Euro lights can be done and have a lot more customization and be more unique.

So how do I install the tail light LED modification?

Well quite simply, what I would be shipping you are LED panel inserts. These go directly into the existing tail light and reside in the bezel behind the internal lenses. They are held in place with a bit of clear silicone, and have connectors to plug directly into the existing bulb holders. This does require taking apart your tail light in order to install them. I will be including instructions with them, but I can also pre-install them if someone desired me to. Just would have to send me a set of tail lights. No further wiring or other work would be required.

Ok, so I want to buy an LED conversion. What do I do?

Well, just PM me, or E-mail me, with what you are wanting to purchase, and any questions you have outside of these. Once we have settled on a price, we can setup a payment. I would request these paid up front, so I can order what I need to do them. As of right now, just to get me started I will have to spend up front 350+ just to get the first rolls of LEDs for these. So the more of you at the same time the better.

How long will it take you to do my conversion?

Well that will depend on how many I have, and the order I get them in. I will say this, if you have a deadline don't wait till the last minute. My goal is a 1 to 2 week turn around time, but hopefully as quickly as I am able.

Ok, that is what I am offering with the NON Euro tail light LED mods. There will be a switch in the light to control the choice.

Once I get some spare time and money I am for sure sending my third brake light to you for the LED conversion. I'm glad you took pictures of your car with the side markers lit. I am not 100% sure on them, but I like the fact that you'd never see them on other cars.

I'd like to request some full car night time pictures of the LED sidemarkers and the third brake light lit up.

I'm torn between going clear on the rear with red LED's then tinting the lens, or staying red with white or red LED's. I will have to wait for some pictures of Ryan's car.


I am wondering, I know the LED's are quicker to light up than a standard bulb. I assume that the third brake light pops on a few tenths of a second before the tail lights light up? It wouldn't bother me much, but you may get a request for an entire tail conversion from me somewhere down the line as well, lol!

The side markers aren't bad, and you are right, no one else has them this way that I have seen yet. I am positive however that clear markers with the colored LED's mounted would be brighter. Styluss's markers are brighter yet, but only because he is using white on white. If I put his white LEDs behind the colored lens, they are dimmer than those you see above. Odd, but true. I honestly think the clear markers lit with colored LEDs will be the brightest LEGAL option without going to a heavier wattage LED. Downside to that is, I have to custom fabricate the backing to include heat dissipation as the higher wattage LEDs produce as much heat as the bulbs did and they cost more, and would not look the same. Higher wattage would be better served in the tail section, but due to the number of LEDs I am mounting with my design above, they are not needed.

I can easily get some night shots of the lighting, I will try to do this tonight yet and post them here. Have to get my camera stand so I can keep the camera steady. They are plenty bright at night I will say that much.

As for the timing of the lights turning on... Yes, they are "instant" but most of us would not really see that much of a difference, regular bulbs usually go off slower than they go on, but you get the idea. My car right now has full LED lighting, but only the markers and 3rd brake are converted, the rest are bulb replacements, and to be honest, I am not fully satisfied with bulbs in the tails. I think I will be building myself a tail conversion later this year, once I have spare funds for it. Right now things are a bit tight.

Does anyone else's car do this? Key is not in the ignition. Door is open. Hold the brake. Your brake lights come on, AND the side markers, and your car has a pattern ding. 2 dings, a pause, then 2 dings, a pause, etc... Never noticed that before. But then never tried that before.. lol

These aren't bad to be fair, and they are bright enough, but I think my tail mod will be a hell of a lot better. We will see, I will be building them and we will know. lol

So... How much for a set of Z26 style front turn signals? And what would they consist of? Three rows of a varying number of LEDs? Would you be able to make a quick connect for them as well? And of course, I am asking about them being made in white for my car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink1.gif) I know the white ups the cost a bit...

I need to get a set of front lamps, I have a plan for them, but I will need to take a set apart I think, since the housing is where they mount. Don't suppose you have a spare set of Z front lamps? The other problem is, they are normally yellow, not clear. Did you have a clear set?

The enhanced have an extra row of LEDs in each horizontal section except for the top row as it is narrower, so they would be a bit brighter....

Right now I have 3 projects going on and a bit backed up, but still working on these. My summer has just been uber crazy lately is all. Once I can get a weekend to slow down, I hope to start a set of the tails so you all can actually SEE these things built and working. Going to be doing a set for my car. As it is I have a few people being very patient with me (THANKS) on a few light conversions that I am trying to finish this week, and I have been crazy busy with the computer shop this month! I run a small one man shop and I am on I think my tenth build in less than a month, not to mention the various repair jobs and house calls I get daily. Tonight I didn't even get home till after 7:30... Just beat.

I have an "aftermarket" stock Z spoiler that I added to my '89 GT. It came with a LED 3rd brakelight. The LED has now died. I need a new one. The place that I bought the spoiler from can no longer get the light. Here is the problem, the Brake light is an extra 3" wider then the stock light. If I were to send you the LED light, could you "re-do" the LED's? I believe some water got in there and blew the LED strip.
