I know i want one, but does anyone else. The specifics are nonexistent so far, but I was originally asking about the obd1 aldl to usb.

I know there are easy builds out there, but nothing specific for the usb setup and im sure im not the only one who doesnt have a serial port on the laptop.

below is the email reply i got from obd2allinone.com, which as far as i can tell is the same as aldlcable.com and are called OBD Diagnostics, Inc

Hi Owen,
Yes, we could do some kind of group discount. What products are you interested in and about how many?
Thank you,
Bob

I would be interested in one. (looks like we'd save roughly $10 each, including shipping savings, since shipping for one is $6, but for 10 is $16)

As far as Quad 4 goes, I have made TunerPro RT ALDL datalogging definition files to work with most Quad 4 cars. With the cable and this free software and the definition file, you can monitor and datalog all the ECM data.

I needed one quick because there was no parts store around that could read OBD1.5. So I ordered one 3 weeks ago, received it, and started finding all the little probs that remained after my 3400 swap. I was getting various codes at different times and SES was turning on a lot. The cable works with TunerPro to read codes and log engine data. I've had a few sessions using it but need to learn more about it. Like what can be learned from looking at the collected data... what tuning is needed... etc
